Wish Death to Gays on Their Wedding Day Because Jesus Would EXACTLY Do that Thing

September 5, 2013

Thus saith Kevin Swanson, who knows damn well that Jesus would never, ever do anything nasty like dine and celebrate with publicans and sinners — oh wait.

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. – Mark 2:15

Well. That’s awkward.

But behold. Kevin Swanson knows better than Jesus.

Pastor Kevin Swanson: Tell gay couples to die on their wedding day:

Swanson said that guests can “attend the wedding and hold up the sign Leviticus 20:13 word for word: ‘If a man sleeps with a man as he sleeps with a woman the two of them have committed an abomination and they shall both be put to death.’ You could attend a wedding and hold up that sign.”

Yep. Just like Jesus would do. You can feel the compassion and Christlike love just radiating from Swanson, can’t you? Yep.

I’d never heard of this particularly twisted sister, so I followed the link and looked at their file on him — 7 entries, all recent (from Nov. 2012 onward). And man, is this one a piece of work: he not only thinks the Nazi Party started in Berlin, he’s convinced fashion denotes one’s Real Likely eternal reward.

    >[Swanson] criticized young men for “doing the metrosexual thing with the skinny pants and the little fairy shoes” and not growing out their facial hair as God commands.

    >But feminism is also to blame, he said, as too many Christian women have embraced feminist fashions like hats and pantsuits.

(from June 29 item re: gay kiss & Colo. forest fires – whyyyy Colo. Springs, the most Christifan burg in the state?)

Well, at least Hats and Pantsuits would be a great name for a ’70s tribute band of some sort, but the bizarre airplane-screen anecdote has to be read to be believed! [It’s about 5 grafs from the bottom of the story.]

This guy has more issues than National Geographic!
