Good little Christian demonstrates Christlike hate and Taliban beliefs

April 26, 2013

University of Arizona (surprise) student Dean Caxton really, really hates women. And exhibiting the exact same attitudes as his enemies obvious heroes, the Islamic Taliban, he tells them they “deserve rape” for dressing in a way he disapproves of. In fact, the subtext is clearly that he really, really hopes someone rapes these women he can’t take his eyes off of, because he isn’t allowed to. Darn his own religion anyway.

University Of Arizona Student Tells Women: ‘You Deserve Rape’

A University of Arizona student sparked outrage on Tuesday for preaching against women while holding a sign proclaiming, “You deserve rape.”

Dean Saxton, a junior, is notorious for giving inflammatory sermons in the middle of campus. This time, he argued that women are responsible for their rapes because of the way they dress and act…

While Saxton’s language is more incendiary than the norm, victim-blaming is very much a mainstream habit. The string of recently publicized rapes of high school and college students have exposed how communities shame victims rather than condemn the perpetrators.

Yes, this is very much a case of, “Nothing happened! And we didn’t do it! And anyway, we decided they deserved it!” And this is soooo reminiscent of all those male foam-at-the-mouth politicians who rage at homosexuals–until they’re found propositioning male undercover cops in an airport bathroom or taking their rent boys on holiday. One wonders just what Mr. Caxton’s past relationships with women have been. (And one pities the women.)

And oh, how Christlike Dean Caxton is! What was it Jesus said again?

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7)

But what the bloody fuck would Jesus know, anyway? He wasn’t living in the Old Testament, as Caxton dearly wishes he was. In fact — Jesus actually kept company with prostitutes and others of their class. Poor little Christlike Christian Dean would really hate that and would condemn Jesus in a heartbeat.

But as little Christian Dean’s dear role models, the Taliban, have demonstrated, there’s always hope that he will yet have his opportunity to rape and even murder these women he can’t stop thinking about. To hell with what Jesus might have to say about it, and have it condoned by both his religious peers and his government.

Deano has just as much high regard for Jesus and his gentleness–and his mercy toward women–as the Taliban do. They make great bedfellows.

Jesus facepalm

Facepalm Jesus is the exact visual I got while reading your entry, and shazam! there you have it right at the end. Kinda blew me away, really — ESP and great minds, etc.?! I

‘ll bet that goober in Arizona would *still* blame his repellent “twilight urges” on The Ladies even if they were in full chador. My prescription for his case is a good long night with an accomplished dominatrix-pegger, followed by a nice consciousness-raising session with Gloria Steinem (or even Kathy Griffin!). And a fistful of restraining orders from the women of Tucson.

      Don’t we wish! Heh.

I love a graphic that went around Facebook a day or so ago. It said that this guy and others like him are basically saying that their own default nature is “rapist.” And that the only possible way to make them NOT be themselves (rapists) is by everyone else around them — especially women — working very, very hard to keep these men from behaving like who they are.

Weird self-loathing theology that makes you shout from the rooftops that you are a rapist-in-waiting.

Congratulations on leaving this loathsome rubbish behind. I love the title “penis-derived theology”.

Thanks! I do feel, sometimes, as though scales have fallen from my eyes.
