Whited Sepulchre Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School in Denver

March 5, 2010

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic school in Denver, Colorado is kicking out a preschooler. A preschooler. And what this child done that is so heinous that he/she has to be expunged from the body academic?

This child has the effrontery, the utter unmitigated gall to have lesbians for parents. The nerve, I tell you!

(See Catholic School Boots Student With Gay Parents, from the DenverPost.com website.)

The child must be kicked out of the school, you see, because if they stay there with other kids who have two heterosexual parents, they might get “confused.” Because, what, they will never, ever encounter someone with heterosexual parents out in the wider world where they actually live every day? Is the Denver Archdiocese, which issued the statement to that effect, seriously trying to pretend it’s doing this for the child’s benefit??

Hm. What would the actual “sacred heart of Jesus” do in response to this child, do you suppose?

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and [his] disciples rebuked those that brought [them]. But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put [his] hands upon them, and blessed them. – Mark 10:13-16.

But never mind that Jesus guy. The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic school in Denver, Colorado has way higher standards than he ever did. They’d kick him out too, if he wouldn’t cut his hair.

Notice he's not letting his hands touch them because, you know, they've got gay parents and stuff
